For nineteen years I have been working with individuals and couples, from a wide range of backgrounds, who are wanting to move out of pain, explore relationships, shift into a healthier way of being, create more intimacy, understand more about themselves, heal from trauma and create more fulfilling lives and relationships. I have a passion and well-worn respect for psychological growth and healing.
Psychological and spiritual exploration have been primary in my life and have led me to devote much of my life to studying and experiencing different psychologies, philosophies, cultures and spiritual thought and practices. My work is informed by what I have learned along the way.
Licensed as a Marriage Family Therapist, I received my graduate degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from The California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, an experiential and holistic degree program bringing together both Eastern and Western psychologies.
I am grateful to the mentors who have been in my life who are the ones that initially brought to light what profound potential there is for growth and healing within the therapeutic relationship as well as to my clients who continue to reveal such richness and beauty.
I respect and value diversity and bring a genuine curiosity about, interest in and compassion for people and the psyche to the work that I do.
I have been working as a psychotherapist for over nineteen years and I love the work that I do.
